Home to Whetstone.
Having won the toss Bob wisely put Whetstone in to bat. A rough looking wicket played a lot better than it looked and with a lot of shots in the air dropping short/wide of fielders Glen initially struggled. 4 wickets for John Ainsworth and 3 from Darren John saw Glen restrict Whetstone to 148-8, helped by the 3 catches taken by Steve Bird.
Sadly, in response, greedy batting by Darren John (64n.o) and Bob Lee (61 n.o) (helped by more than a handful of overthrows!) wasted possibly the strongest batting line up Glen has ever seen and knocked off the runs with ease. Other results went our way and leave the team needing only 3 points from the final game to clinch promotion.
