1st XI
Away to Whetstone
Whetstone batted first, and after a steady start Will Taylor exploded into life in his 6th over, taking 5 wickets to decimate Whetstone’s top order. With Rich Wilson keeping things tight at the other end Whetstone were always struggling and with further wickets for Keith Spray and Michael Hincks Whetstone were all out for 88 following a stubborn 10th wicket stand.
Glen got off to a positive start with Darren John (19) and Bob Lee (33) putting on 46 for the opening wicket. Their wickets brought Vinnie and Mike Hincks to the crease to see Glen home with 8 wickets and plenty of overs to spare.

1st XI
Home to Hinckley
Glen batted first and in a low scoring match scored 140 in their 45 overs
In reply Glen bowled Hinckley out for just 64 with Jamie Snashall taking the headlines with 5 wickets.
2nd XI
Away to Hinckley
After losing the toss Glen were put in to bat on a terrible wicket and struggled to score runs all the way through their innings. A rally late on by Pitcher (13), Ainsworth (22 n.o) and Andrews saw Glen to 109-8 from their 45 overs.
In what was always going to be a tight run chase, glen got the first break though following an excellent piece of fielding from Lee Samuels to run their opener out in only the 3rd over. Dave Pitcher (4-5) was brought into the attack and took a wicket with his first ball (making it 4 wickets in his last 4 deliveries). After a stubborn 3rd wicket partnership from Hinckley another wicket for Pitcher started the rot. Further wickets from Tim Andrews and John Ainsworth saw Hinckley bowled out for 70 in the 42nd over to seal another nerve-wracking but vital victory.
