Home to Caribbeans
After losing the toss, Glen batted first and were skittled for just 87 with only Bob Lee (40) and Ian Hill (16) able to put up any resistance. In reply Glen managed to take 6 Caribbean wickets, but ultimately Caribbeans knocked off the runs, with 87 being too little to defend.
2nd XI
Away to Twycross
After losing the toss and being put into bat, Glen made a poor start with Collis out in the 3rd over. Arpan (23) and Sodhi (24) then scored swiftly to recover to 49 before a flurry of wickets saw us in trouble at 64 - 5. Then a vital partnership from Dave Ball (49) and Tim Odams (33) saw glen recover to 156 - 5 before finally finishing up 182 for 9 from our 45 overs.
In response Twycross got off to blistering start, getting to 34 -0 from the first 6 overs. The scoring rate slowed thenks to some tight bowling form Tim Andrews and Dave Pitcher (3-39) but Twycross looked well placed at 147 - 3 after 34 overs. Then enter Tim Andrews for his 2nd spell, and with some smart catches making up for earlier mistakes, Twcross were all out for 167, securing a 4th victory on the trot for Glen.
