i was just wondering how many local bands do you actually enjoy? I'm not talking about going to see them because you're buds.
just wondering, i have a few that i like, a few that i love as people and a lot that i don't like musically, but like as dudes. I've bought alot of local band merch, just to show support because to me that's a big deal. you gotta support the bands if you want to support the scene, but I've only bought a few and actually put themin my cd player, you know?
I'm not asking you to name off any, but i suppose you can if you want.
just wanted to know. not trying to start any wars. |

Kentucky Sound Arsenal, Flatland String Band, Five Star Fracture, and The March on Versailles immediately come to mind. I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of them. |

I straight up won't buy a single thing of merch from a band unless I dig their tunes. Plain and simple.
HOWEVER, I have been nice to guys that I didn't think were good, because they were nice.

Five Star Fracture
Kentucky Sound Arsenal
AMessageOfBullets
Battlefields

that's all I can think of right now. I'm sure there's bands I forgot, and I know there's bands I havent seen yet that I'd probably like, too. But that's my list. |

Bongos of Chaos, anyone?
I enjoy all the local bands down here. They're all amazing, and its quite suprising that so much talent could thrive from this shitty state.
