I don't want to give anything away, but those of you attending the game are in for a treat this week. However, the score may be a bit closer than it would be in the past weeks is we faced Findlay. Still, Ross by 2 touchdowns.... |

Let me guess? Big Ben will return home to give a 'fire up' speech to the Trojans?
Trounce the Trojans! |

That would have to be my guess too! I think he came back down last year during Homecoming for Findlay against Lima Senior I think...

Well Pittsburgh has a home game against Kansas City on Sunday afternoon. I honestly don't know whether they would let Big Ben come back to Findlay on Friday night. But frankly I could give a crap if they do, nothing is stopping our LITTLE GIANTS!!
Lets GO Little Giants

If we're lucky, maybe he'll go into the wrong lockerroom, and fire up the Little Giants! :D Of course, that's assuming if he drank like a champ. ;) |

I'm not going to predict a score because there's an X factor this week, but I don't think the outcome will be close!! Unwrap the Trojans...
Ross rolls to 8-0!! |

Ross coach Derek Kidwell and his father, Richard (had to type the formal version of his name because the censor won't let through the name every knows him by, the shortened version of Richard that starts with 'D'), made many a Findlay player and fan weep when the younger Kidwell played for and the older Kidwell coached Fostoria High in games against Findlay. I don't see much of a change now with both coaching. |

Fremont Ross goes to 8-0 by outlasting the Trojans 28-21, a hard fought smash mouth game but the Little Giants left a lot of point on the field, none the less a W is a W |

Millsy, if Ross can put it together for 4 quarters, their chances to go deep are possible. Still, too many mental errors to be a GREAT team right now. And like Troop stated, too many points left on the field; this game shouldn't have been this close. But, we got the W, and that's all what counts. ;) |

Ross moves to 51-30-3 in this series, and 584-380-48 alltime overall record. Ross is one step closer to wrapping up conference/league title #20 since 1955. |

How did 2-6 Reynoldsburg almost upset Ross???? I've seen Reynoldsburg and they are not a very good team, to put it nicely. |

Before I go on, I think R-burg's season went down the drain from that Ross hail mary at the end.
Griffin, the Little Giants absolutely played their worst game of the year. 11 penalties, 15 dropped balls, and 3 unforced TOs kept the Raiders in the game. Before that game, I stated the emotional win over Benedictine, the upcoming game with Napoleon, and the long bus ride to R-burg could spell upset city. And sure enough, it almost happened.
These things do happen; heck, I've noticed now that McKinley has had 2 really close calls against 'suspect' teams in Uniontown Lake and Boardman. |

Reynoldsburg wasn't very good from the get go. They were manhandeld by Pickerington Central in the 1st game of the season by a score of 34-0. This is the game I saw and Reynoldsburg might have had 100 yards of total offense.
Prior to the Fremont Ross game they lost to Gahnna Lincoln by a score of 38-0. The last two weeks they gave up 42 to Hilliard Davidson and 38 to Grove City.
This team was bad in beginning , bad in the middle, and will be bad at the end.

Griffin, if we played our A game, I'm sure we would've scored 30+ on these guys as well. Actually, I didn't think our D played bad that night; I think R-burg had 150 yards total offense. Their 10 points were on turnovers deep in our own territory. I admit; had it happened, it would've been a bad loss. But, as good teams do, in adversity, they find a way to win. |

Sadly enough, I agree with Griffin. However, saying Ross is overrated (As I'm assuming you're implying.) because of the outcome of that game, a Ross win by the way, is absurd. If you haven't seen us play, I strongly recommend you do your best to make it to Fremont this week to watch us POUND THE PRESIDENTS or next week to see us STOMP THE STREAKS!!!
Worst comes to worse, you could always make your way to Fremont for our first round playoff game against a possiblenumber of teams:
Toledo Whitmer (Ross defeated them in week 2, 35-21.)
Perrysburg (Ross defeated them in week 1, 62-14.)
Massilin (I believe this is the Massilin team we scrimmage a week before the season...I wasn't there. We lost 26-28, missed an early XP.)
Elyria
I'm sure there are a few outsiders looking in, but those are our likely week 1 playoff opponents rather we finsih 1st or 2nd in region 2. |

I'm not implying anything except that Reynoldsburg is a poor excuse for a D1 football team.
Fremont should not have much trouble with Marion Harding. Harding LOST to D2 St. Charles by a score of 14-3. St. Charles lost to D3 Columbus DeSales by a score of 35-0. |

We shouldn't have problems, but I don't take anything for granted. I've said numerous times if Ross could stay FOCUSED for 4 quarters, we'd be scary good, and thus far, we haven't, but are 8-0 despite that. Plus, Marion has a lot riding on this game; I expect it to throw the kitchen sink at us.
Hammer Harding! |
