Seneca East won 49-7 Saturday in a game that started an hour late because of lightning.
St. Wendelin will try to break a 20-game MAL losing streak when it goes to North Baltimore this week. The last MAL win came at home in Week 5 of the 2003 season against North Baltimore (14-13). The Mohawks had to cancel the rest of their season with two games remaining (Carey, Mohawk) because of injuries and a lack of numbers. Therefore, SW lost the final three MAL games it played in 2003, went 0-7 in 2004 and 2005 and has lost its first three league games this year. |
