vegasrocky Howdy All,
I just found a new Bob Nolan site. It was created by his grandson Calin Coburn. A very good site about Bob and the SOP. Lots of pictures, music and information.
The site is www.bobnolan-sop.net
I'm sure all SOP fans will enjoy the site.
Happy Trails all

yellowrose13 What an awsome site! It's about time there was something like this on the web!

Brenda Castilla Other than Dale, I can think of no other person that I love to hear singing with Roy except Bob Nolan accompanied with Sons Of The Pioneers.....something about the way the voices of RR and Bob Nolan blend together.......sounds awesome!

yellowrose13 Oh yeah! I love Ken Carson's voice too. Its amazing how great all the boys sounded with Roy.

Brenda Castilla We are given many "treasures" in life and reading is one of them; so much knowledge can be learned from reading.....and when reading about a subject that one likes, it is even more rewarding!

CowboyFan I agree! I love to read. I started the biography but didn't have the time to get it finished.

Eowawa No one ever sang The Touch of God's Hand like Bob did.
December 13th, 2006 03:28 PM
yellowrose13 I love listening to The Touch of God's Hand from their first recording of it and then hearing it as Bob sang it on The Sound of a Pioneer-his last solo album.

CowboyFan Was Bob Nolan or any other of the Sons of the Pioneers (besides Tim Spencer) Christians?
December 15th, 2006 02:04 PM
yellowrose13 Bob was, I know. I don't think Pat Brady or Hugh Farr were Christains, which is really sad, especially since they must have been exposed to the gospel frequently after Roy and Dale were saved.

CowboyFan Okay, thanks yellowrose13! I saw some of Bob's songs that talked about God on the lyrics page, and I was wondering.
