It should be a pretty competitive tournament. This has been a tough conference all season to play in. Last night's Illinois/Penn St game is how I think alot of these games are going to go in this tournament. If they aren't that close, I think about 85% of the will be score differences of 10 pts or less. |

I think MSU - Wisconsin are in, Minny probably (could use a win in the big 10 tourney). Michigan / Northwestern need to make the finals imo. |

Scary to think how much better off OSU would have been being the #6 seed, in terms of getting into the tournament. They are probably in, but getting the automatic win against Indiana would sure help. If OSU losses to Wisky, I think they are still probably in but they'll be sweating it out Sunday night. |

I don't think they are sweating at all win or lose to wisconsin. |

The only issue now concerning the Big Ten Tourney is how it affects OSU and their NCAA seeding. A one and done and they fall to a13 seed. A win or 2 and they may get as high as a 10. |

ESPN's bubble watch still has OSU in the "work left to do" column. Here's what they have to say:
Ohio State [20-9 (10-8), RPI: 38, SOS: 32] The Buckeyes beat Northwestern 52-47 at home on Sunday, which is probably enough to get them into the NCAA's 65-team field. Ohio State finished 10-8 in the Big Ten standings, after sweeping Michigan, beating Penn State and splitting games against Minnesota. The Buckeyes lost at Wisconsin, but can erase any doubts by beating the Badgers in the Big Ten tourney on Friday. Ohio State has five victories over RPI top-50 opponents, beating Butler, Purdue and Minnesota at home and sweeping the Wolverines. They're 5-8 against RPI top-50 foes and 9-9 against the top 100. Eight of Ohio State's nine losses came against RPI top-50 foes and they went 4-6 in road games.
FWIW, they only have MSU, Purdue, and Ill in right now, but state that the B10 could get 7 or 8 bids. I still think that a particularly bad loss to Wisky puts OSU in jeopardy.

I think the Buckeyes are in too, regardless of wins or no wins in the Big Ten tourny. |

They are in, and I almost hope they lose to wisky because I do NOT want to be an 8 or 9 seed. I'd rather be 10 or 11. |

Yes. Right now they would be an 8/9 seed. A loss to Wisky would be damaging, but I still believe they get in as a 10/11/12 seed....
Regardless, they're in. |
