hafner_for_mvp This probably won't be a close game.

Minnesota is quite a bit better than Ohio State. Hopefully I'm wrong, I definitely wouldn't mind if I was.

kartman I think the Buckeyes put just as much talent on the floor. It's what they do with it that determines the outcome.

Pronkville After seeing the Purdue game, a team who has the #1 defense in the Big Ten and Ohio State took them to OT and beat them.

I like the Buckeyes in this one, at home by 7

judgesmales Both are in a logjam at 6-4 in B10 play.

hafner_for_mvp Hm, I didn't realize that was in Columbus? I read Ohio State vs. Minnesota and assumed The Gophers were the home team.

I may change my mind then, simply because of OSU is hosting. I'll say this is a close game, although I still feel that Minnesota is the better team and would probably win on a neutral court.

If that were the case I would have titled it "Ohio State @ Minnesota"

Tater44857us I like the Buckeyes at home in a close one. They play well at the Schott. The game will be determined on the Buckeyes neutralizing the Gophers big men. Buckeyes 68-64

February 7th, 2009 08:53 PM
OSU Josh 29-26 Bucks at half
February 7th, 2009 09:50 PM
judgesmales Tight game, OSU up 3 with 3 to play. Turner w/ 4 fouls, can see this coming down to last possession.
February 7th, 2009 09:52 PM
judgesmales Mullen w/ sweet tip dunk off a dibs miss from 3! BJ had an awesome alley oop from Turner from half court in first half.
February 7th, 2009 09:54 PM
OSU Josh Minnesota scores on their FOURTH attempt on that possession. pitiful loose ball and rebounding by the Bucks that time down

57-54 OSU
February 7th, 2009 09:57 PM
judgesmales For once OSU is making free throws.
February 7th, 2009 09:57 PM
OSU Josh 61-54, 38 secs. Turner with 4 FTs
February 7th, 2009 10:03 PM
OSU Josh Turner 7/8 down the stretch from the line

64-58 final

Solid win by the Bucks

Tater44857us Big win..look for the Buckeyes to move into the top 25 this week @ 17-5 and 7-4 in BT
February 8th, 2009 03:30 AM
Streak23 I caught the last 8 minutes of this game. Evan Turner is an absolute stud. William Bufurd will develop into a great player as well...

This Buckeye team could make some noise in the tourney.
February 8th, 2009 01:43 PM
kartman That was a good solid win. Actually enjoyable to watch the last couple minutes - made free throws, etc. Awesome jam by Mullens!
February 9th, 2009 01:49 AM
ScarletFever This team + the addition of lighty should now make the ncaa barring disaster.
February 9th, 2009 10:35 AM
fastforward Is there any truth that the Bucks are going to medical red shirt Lighty?
February 9th, 2009 12:41 PM
theAteam I haven't heard about that.
February 9th, 2009 12:47 PM
tigeralum01 they have talked about it since he got hurt. It just depends on if he is able to come back and im sure how osu is sitting will factor in as well
February 9th, 2009 01:55 PM
stillinpreschool I bet they will. His 5th metatarsal still isn't healing as it should. Apparently he's been on the treadmill, but isn't allowed to make cuts.

No link right now, was in the Dispatch today.
February 9th, 2009 02:51 PM
tigeralum01 Lunardi has osu as an 8 seed in his latest bracketology
February 9th, 2009 04:01 PM
tigeralum01 osu is 24 in ap poll
February 9th, 2009 04:25 PM
judgesmales The good news about Lighty being hurt is that it's really allowed Buford to develop--what a good player he is. If they get Lighty back they will have some real depth at the 2-3 spots...Turner is so versatile, they could really at times play Buford, Lighty, Diebler, Turner and Mullens/Lauderdale and hurt some teams. Turner has been running the point at times lately and can defend SOME 4s at 6'7" with a big wing span. That would put a 7 footer with 4 guys between 6-5 and 6-7 on the floor, all fairly athletic. Some tough games coming up for OSU, though.

Buckeye2B I read that they are considering a redshirt season and holding him out. Anyone else see this? Or maybe it was on BTN???
