dwasserm Hope Lauderdale smashed a ball down Chisms stupid throat. Wear your headband straight like a normal person!
March 22nd, 2010 10:31 AM
scout15 Im sure Matta will mix things up defensively but when we play man/man I expect Lauderdale to guard Brian Williams and Lighty to guard Chism.

giffiusmcohio74 Go Bucks!
March 22nd, 2010 12:53 PM
Buckeye2B They have been impressive to me thus far in the big dance. Now, as it continues to get tougher, let's see how they respond. Now that Kansas is gone, I think the odds of making the final four have improved immensely.

ScarletFever Tennessee is tough but it's the sweet 16 we can't expect to play Northwestern.

Playing Tenn & Mich St. / NIU >>> Playing Georgetown & Kansas
March 22nd, 2010 02:19 PM
Fastforward2 Get by Tennessee and Michigan St. with a stud out do to injury we would be looking good. If the people we need to stay hot do Turner will give Tennessee fits.
March 22nd, 2010 06:18 PM
dwasserm If Jon keeps stroking the ball like he has been, were be looking great for the whole tourney. Which means no double on Turner, which means the same thing. If Jon Jon is on, the whole team gets 3 times better.

theAteam Chism is a force, whether you like him or not. I'm expecting a great game. Wouldn't be surprised to see us bow out here.

100% agree.

judgesmales Might be a disadvantage for OSU that UT just played OU. OU runs a lot of the same stuff. But, with different looks, of course...OSU is much bigger and slower. I see Tenn as a bunch of big athletes who aren't great basketball players. OSU should win. It would be interesting to see OSU get a good performance from 5 players in the same game. They could beat anyone.

Knite Flyer This one scares me. It's the Aaron Craft Bowl, and Pearl really liked that kid and wanted him at Tennessee. My heart says the Buckeyes pull out a close one late, but my head is not convinced.

A wounded MSU team awaits, and they would want revenge for a poor performance at home, that cost them an outright Big Ten regular season title. Northern Iowa doesn't worry me, at all, unless the ghosts of Eldon Miller show up in St. Louis.
March 23rd, 2010 12:04 PM
ScarletFever Also an advantage that OSU just played a bunch of 'physical athletes' in the YellowJackets. Somewhat similar to Tenn I'd imagine.
March 23rd, 2010 01:39 PM
buckeyekid1__1 OSU hasn't played particularly well in the Tourney yet,,,only in stretches for 2-3 minutes at a time.

I think Tenn is good,,,but OSU is better. 78-65 OSU
March 23rd, 2010 06:36 PM
big_hoss Why do people think MSU is going to beat UNI with out Lucas? NIU just beat the #1 ranked team in the country. MSU is very capable to win with out Lucas, but lets give UNI some credit here.
March 23rd, 2010 11:02 PM
ScarletFever I don't. I think Mich St. should win but it's no guarantee.
March 23rd, 2010 11:27 PM
Dr. Torch yikes

i actually think OSU can roll in this game, which is usually a bad sign
March 24th, 2010 04:18 AM
tori OSU roll? Did Tennesse beat Kentucky this year? If so I would not count them out.

Yes, and Kansas. But they also lost to Kentucky by about 30 and lost to a terrible Georgia team.

I think OSU is the better team and should win. Can't wait to watch this one.

TVTimeout I for one do not dismiss Northern Iowa = I think they'll beat Michigan State and wait for the winner between Tennessee and Ohio State.
As for the Buckeyes -- Tennessee is going to be one of the most athletic teams that they've faced this season. If the Buckeyes can hit the 3-ball and get an even contribution from everyone -- I think they'll win. However, the way this tournament is going....
March 26th, 2010 02:48 AM
shadow_king Look for Tennessee to revert back to thug ball like they used to run. Teams seem to want to get physical with us because Turner sometimes has trouble with it. If we break their presses I think we'll run well with them.

Pronkville Just like college football the officials get on their knees for the SEC!!!
March 26th, 2010 07:48 PM
Pronkville OSU getting hammered on the boards...Tenn already has 10 offensive boards....unacceptable!
March 26th, 2010 07:55 PM
ronburgandy My reverse psychology is working on Simmons, lol.
March 26th, 2010 07:56 PM
OSU Josh solid 5 minutes to close out the half
