Topie: Fremont Ross's Freshman Tylor Trautwein RB/lb /Greg Brown CB ..players to watch! 2011

Not to beat a dead horse with fremont kids, but when Freshman are getting serious looks from colleges, somethings up...Both were mentioned on another site as players to watch in 2011...

Tylor Trautwein a freshman rb/lb who played freshman/jv /varsity for ross last season is getting alot of attention. The 5-11 170lb freshman rb is a load of a back, and will likely be the man at ross in 08'.

Tylor has a profile at a website devoted exclusively to being recruited.

Greg Brown a 5-10 160 lb CB for Ross played freshman/jv/varsity as well playing wr/cb.....The young man is very quick and will be a fine CB at Ross

You ever get a chance to check out Tylor trautweins youtube video,it's worth it...

Is it me or is our area (nw ohio) talent level picking up??I know fremont ross has alot of talent( currently on roster like T.D./ Woleslagel) but in all grades.I think fremont is on a run of talent in all grades.

Clyde/Fostoria/Sandusky/findlay/SJJ/fremont ross..All have kids that are going div 1 or will.

yes there is

theAteam Tyler is going to be a very good player. I know the kid and he comes from a great home (Dad's a cop) and is going to keep his head on straight, something a lot of athletes at Ross haven't been able to do lately.
April 14th, 2008 05:15 PM

I realize, last years team had deondray/Durand, and even though they were gifted athletes, they just didn't get it done in school.

Now I know for a fact, T.D. is doing the things he's supposed too, to be successful, I'm told from a very good source barring injury, he'll have a remarkable SR. YR.

Now with Tylor Trautwein, yes, he's got all makings of a big time player, and it sounds like he's got his head together.

As for Greg Brown, he KNOWS what he has to do to make it!Coaches gave him the same talking too as Terence a years ago, when he came on.
April 14th, 2008 05:26 PM
theAteam I don't know about DJ/Durand getting it done in the classroom...but I know they have had past troubles with the law.

I don't know anything about Terrance and have never said a word to him in my life, so I don't want to come down on him. I haven't heard of him having any troubles off the field and I hope he's doing what he needs to be doing in the classroom if his scholarship offers are true.

As I said, I know Tyler and his family. He has the home life that I feel it's beneficial for all high school students to have. I have no doubt that Tyler will do what he is supposed to do on and off of the field. I know it's early, but it's hard to see this kid not playing college football.

Isn't Greg Brown judge Brown's son? I don't know the kid, but wish him nothing but the best. Someone on Ross' current staff told me with his own mouth that Greg is going to be the next big professional athlete to come from Ross...and that was over a year ago.

redskinfan04 Not trying to start anything here but perhaps if ross actually punished players and held them accountable for there actions off the field it might help keep some of these kids in line.

Correct me if im wrong here on the circumstances but didnt ross'es star lb get a meager 2 game suspension for picking up a dui and possesion charge last year?

The 2 game suspension that Durand Robinson recieved last year was about a joke considering what he did.

Do you know what he did? If so, how, may I ask? It seems odd that a PC follower would know something that Ross tried to keep so behind doors.

redskinfan04 check ur pm's ateam.
April 14th, 2008 06:08 PM
theAteam I'm pretty sure you're wrong. One of Ross' seniors from last year's team got a possession charge once the season was over, but it wasn't Durand.

If you get caught drinking at Ross, you're suspended for 365 days from the day you got busted. I didn't think you knew what his suspension was for on a count of your previous post didn't make any sense if you knew why he was suspended.

Deondray was arrested a week after the season ended for possesion, thats who you mean.
April 14th, 2008 07:12 PM

Anyone ever get a chance to check out Tylors youtube video from last season, ross's running game will be tough the next 3 years, with Trautwein and Spencer in the backfield.

I told him that in a PM. I knew he didn't know what he was talking about in referring to Durand.

redskinfan04 the wpool grapevine can be a bit unreliable at times and thats why I put what I had been told out there. I figured if I was wrong one of you guys would correct it.

If ross has a 365 day policy it must not apply to transfer's and move in's then.

Head's up. These are high school kids you're talking about. If you're going to post their business on the internet, you better know what you're talking about.

I have no idea if Ross' policy applies to transfers/move-in's. Why do you say that, though? Send it in a PM if you don't mind.

jake I don't know what's going on here, but I do think these kids coming up this year will be solid, young leaders like the 06 team. Davis, Woleslagel, Halbeisen, and Foos are good kids, cerebral, and will lead the Little Giants just fine this year.
April 15th, 2008 12:26 AM
theAteam I couldn't agree more. Everyone I talk to is extremely high on Foos and saying A LOT of records are going to be broken by him his senior year. It's getting to the point where I don't know what's real and what's just Fremont people getting excited about us having a good football program.
April 15th, 2008 06:46 PM
I think te kids currently on Roster or coming up, are gonna be just fine.

What I wanted to accomplish when I posted this was to bring to light, not only the ross sr's getting offers, but 2 very talented freshman who both saw significant playing time on varsity in 07, and are getting looks.

Tylor Trautwein/ Aaron Spencer will be a 2 headed nightmare in ross' backfield in 08' and 09'

That's why you can never believe what you "hear". Take the time to find out the actual facts. You did the right thing by asking here. So much of that grapevine bullcrap is driven by heresay and rumors.

Greg Brown a 5-11 165 cb sophomore for ross this year, recently went to the university of Michigan for an underclassmen camp for the top underclassmen coming up the next few years.

According to UM sources, he was among the top 2-3 CB'S up there, and among the best athletes. He made alot of poeple take notice. He currently has a profile! Not yet ranked.Has a scout article out, about his impressive showing, and interest gaining.

Greg will be a cb/wr for fremont ross.He is also a very good wr.One of the fastest kids on the team, that has many many fast kids..He will likely go to the next level playing cb.

Update on Tyler Trautwein, fremont's 5-11 180 lb lb/fb sophomore as well.Looks like he should have a very fine career at ross..he'll go to the next level playing defense it sounds.

Tyler also will play fb for fremont

Jr. qb Cody Foos fremont ross, is also considered a div 1 prospect for 2010,he currently has a profile, not yet ranked and an article mentioning, he's among the top qb's in the state for 2010..
