ScarletFever Orange Bowl gets to choose an at large team, they chose Kansas. Once they did that, Missouri got thrown out because you can't have more than 2 in the same conference in the BCS.

ScarletFever

Good call by the Orange Bowl. This coach will single handedly boost the restaurant economy in Miami that week 300%.

xparty07 Missouri has a legit beef to be honest, for a few reasons.

First and most obviously, they are 6th in the BCS. They have similar credentials to many of the teams that received BCS bids.

Next, they beat two of the teams who did receive a BCS bid during the regular season (Kansas and Illinois)

They essentially dropped from 1st to 9th (first team not getting a BCS bid) after a loss to an Oklahoma team many consider to be the best in America right now, when WVU only dropped 5 ranks after a home loss to 4-7 Pitt and did receive a bid.
The BCS system is just terrible.

ScarletFever It's hard to keep Kansas out, they lost only one game on a neutral field to a top 5 (at the time) team.

Orange Bowl must think they will be a bigger draw, you'll see another Kansas great football team never or next to it, so their fans will flock to the game and buy every souveneir in sight.
