This is unbelievable...
This season is a prime example as to why something has to done to the current system. I'm glad I'm not a part of the BCS committee. If I were I would resign immediately effective tonight. |

They appear to be the early favorite. However, this is a classic example of why changes need to made. You're going to have teams like LSU, Virginia Tech, and Hawaii (assuming they win tonight) to be making solid arguments. Then throw in Virginia Tech and USC, who have both won their conferences. THEN, a one loss team such as Kansas could also make their statement...
This entire thing is absolutely insane. As I said earlier I'm grateful that I'm not a member of the BCS committee. |

If Georgia has a chance to play for the NC without being their conference champions, something is not right with that picture.
If this year doesn't get them to change the BCS, it may never happen. |

It's not the systems fault WVU lost to 7-loss Pitt. It's not the systems fault LSU lost twice from the #1 position.
The BCS will get it right as tomorrow evening there will be a #1 and a #2 in the previously agreed upon system and those teams will play for the title.
OSU is #!, who is #2? Find out tomorrow. |

you can say the system is flawed all you want but it is what it is. buckeyes lost to illinois, they opened the door for other teams. those other teams didn't want it, so osu will take it. |

Going off of what you said...it's really simple...just wins the games you're supposed to win and the rest will take care of itself...USC couldn't do it against Stanford(although they may be back in it), WV peed down their legs tonight against Pitt, Oklahoma lost to Colorado and TT, LSU lost to as Les Miles would say AR-kansas..and the list goes on... |

Why would something be wrong with Georgia not winning their conference, yet being able to play for the NC? I brought it up in another thread, Oklahoma got the chance, and they lost to LSU 21-14 in 03-04!!! If I recall correctly, they got exposed by Kansas State in the Big XII CG and still somehow ended up playing for the NC!!!! It's happened before so why shouldn't Georgia get the chance??? Either way................
