I've read a few places that Lloyd is really going to retire AFTER the game officially. If that is the case, and he announces it to the team prior to the game, Michigan will be unbeatable. Lloyd retiring, in the cereal bowl, seniors never having beaten OSU.....it's all too much for OSU to compete with (much as the year OSU fired Earle Bruce-emotions were running too high for that michigan team to have a chance...) It'll be much the same this year I am afraid... yet, mark it down that this IS NOT a prediction...just a fear. If I make a prediction, the Gods will strike me down with lightening and I know who won't win, so I will just sit here in this God-forsaken state and smile and ever so pleasantly root for Tressel and my Buckeyes to disembowel and maim any game plan that Vloyd should lay in front of them, and with a small bit of luck and some competant play, OSU could arrive at victory when the final gun sounds.

Chris Wells runs for 125+ and Robiske score a TD reception. The defense shows up and holds down the Michigan offense.
Lloyd finishes 6-7 against the Bucks. Tressel improves to 6-1. |

I totally disagree.
I thought something similar after Bo passed away before last year's game, we all know how that turned out. If Michigan couldn't get the job done when Bo passed, I dont think Coach Carr's retirement will help. |

Sorry to say this Buckeye fans but the Bucks are going to lose.
I don't think they have mentally prepared to play Michigan like they mentally didn't prepare to play Illinois.
Before the Illinois game I got all worried because of the stuff coming out of the players mouths.
Here's some of the stuff they were saying before the Illinois game
- "I think we just got lazy, to be honest." <-- About the '06 OSU/Illinois game
- "Sometimes the Illinois name can get you."
- "They were never a big powerhouse."
- "We kind of got a little bit too complacent last year and confident at that point in the year."
- "They caught us sleeping and we couldn't snap out of it."
- "Michigan's always in the back of our minds -- first day of camp to last game of the year -- they're always there because it's such a big rivalry and such a big game for us."
- "The amount of respect we have for that team is just about as high as anybody else." - About as high? It should have been even higher
Now we get this great quote going into the Michigan game
"If we have to go to the Rose Bowl, that's what it is."
Sorry but if you lose to Michigan you might 'have' to go to the Outback Bowl. |

If OSU can run the football with good success the Bucks will blow the other team out of the stadium. If it is a hard fought battle like most games between these two it will be close and a field goal could be the deciding factor and the game could go either way. |
