willy2067 personally for me any shakiness or feeling uncomfortable is over after and hour and a half. But that is me now im on a very small dose. Once you are stabalized on the proper dose you should feel the same all the time.

dopiate does anyone on here have a really fast metabolism? cause i'm pretty sure i will be starting on MMT and i have an incredibly fast metabolism, and i feel it might be a problem for me, i had to split dose my sub, one in the morning one at night, it was the only way.

Carol
Lots of people are fast metabolizers, and many of them split dose their methadone. It's hard when one gets on a methadone clinic for the first time....because by split dosing one must take some of their dose home with them to take at a later time......and they consider it a "take home". It sucks for new people because they usually won't do it. However.....if you get your methadone from that same doc......you have LUCKED out and will be able to take it yourself whenever!

If you don't get much feedback for your question, dop.....maybe make a separate post for it!

Best of luck!.......Carol

mrmichael67 I would have answered it just like you did, Carol. It's really hard to tell how it's going to work out until it happens.

Breeze I have to agree. All you can do is try. Don't set yourself up for failure, know what I mean? Just relax, and try it. You might be suprised.
