| Topie: Need Help with Decorating my Board |

I am somewhat familiar with HTML code's,and I understand how to copy and paste script.
I would like a background for my board and those little icons that tell you when you have new posts changed to either a vinyl record or jukebox. I would like the background to be something to do with the retro look. I would like my title to be just above the message board. Any help would be appreciated.

Check you PM's here to find some icons I made for you, and some retro backgrounds. Hope at least something is what you needed. If you need help with them, just give a 'holler'. |

By the way, If you could tell us the name of the board, or send a link in a pm I'd be happy to work on making a banner that fits the board background/look, but seeing it would make it easier to know what you are looking for.

Actually, it's a siggy banner for you to use...like mine and some others.....you can use it here or at your board. I'll work tomorrow on making a banner that you can use for your board....or it may have to wait until Friday, lots to do tomorrow and Thursday. |

Thanks bluangel. I will need instructions on how to put the siggy on my board,if it's a copy and paste,I can do that,only need where to apply it at. And how would I use it on this board.
I have other boards that I am going to start also,but one at a time right now. Thanks again

Let's see if I can tell you how to do this. Use this code

Remove the space between [ and i] and [ and /img]
Recommended Method:
Or even easier. To use on this board, your excoboard, upload to the image gallery, then click on "get code". Use the one that is called NovaCode. Then you only have to copy/paste to the signiture box. |

BluAngel I right clicked the icons and copied and pasted the url in the properties on my board. Is that ok to do that? thanks. soon as I get my board ship shape I am going to have open house :) |

I need to fix the color also on some of the text like for e.g.,Contains new posts, No new posts since your last visit ,Current time is,You last visited You have 0 unread messages text like those.

Lady Retro I think that you are wanting it for your sig perhaps. Post image is that little blue dot in a square by where it says when the post was made. If you want it in your sig, you do that in your profile. |

Looks like things are coming together for you. If you want the Record to say New Post or No New Posts, or the Jukebox, I can always add that to it for you. Then you'll know. Otherwise, people can look to the bottom of the board to see which it is and then they'll remember it. Trying to think of something along those lines that you can use for Open Topic/CloseTopic, and Hot Topic. Give me some time to think of some things that will go with your theme. Glad you liked the banner for the board. That was fun to do. Had to go looking to see what some of the music today is considered to be retro music. I found the Platters (Great Pretender) right off.....so that was fun. |

I know you got all yer stuff set up well, Lady Retro, but another thing you could do to find retro backrounds, is go on yahoo.com, and search retro pictures. Yahoo autimatically gives you a selection of retro pics. I've used it fer my board |
