Hi all,
On the thread page, the fist column shows open/closed or hot topic icons.
Then there's a second column that sometimes shows whta looks like a yellow page of writing. What is that for?? It does not do anything if I click it and I cannot find any mention of it anywhere.
An example on this page http://s2.excoboard.com/exco/forum.php?forumid=100570
When I look the first 3 thread have the little yellow page and the 4 thread has a smiley face.
It's driving me CrAzY trying to find out what they are all about. HELP!! ??
Thanks so much for your help!

That is called a posticon. It is used in part to set the tone or mood of the post. The paper with writing means that it is just a normal post and the smilie lets you know that someone is happy or is posting something funny/silly/happy.
On your features page in the cp you can choose to use them or not. Peter and Markus didn't use them on this board. sdn did use them on his board. |

I've got another Q if you don't mind. :)
If I have that option turned off, then I assume there'd be no problem deleting that column entirely thru custom templates??
Thanks, Annabella |

Yup! ... not sure, but think that column would vanish automatically when you disable the feature? (trying to visualise it as I type) |

Thanks - the column did not disappear when I turned it off - it was just an a narrow empty column.
Anyways, I went in and deleted the posticon column and tweaked the colspans to match and it worked beautifully!
Thanks so much for your help. I just did not want to delete it in case is was something vital!! Hehehe
Cheers, Annabella
