Hi, been modding on discussion forums for four years now, but finally struck out on my own.
My discussion forums up and running, but I've no idea about Html and such things.
I want to design and add banners and logo's but no idea how to go about it.
Can anyone give me some links to read up on this.
Also, is there any way to make a thread 'sticky' on the excoboard software? |

Banners are usually made in graphics-editing programs like PhotoShop or Paint Shop Pro. They are made by Adobe and Jasc, respectively.
To make a thread a sticky, open it and click the stick thread link in the bottom left corner of the page.

Cheers sdn,
Got the 'sticky' thing sorted thanks to you.
It was a Doh moment, as I've been used to vBulletion3.
Once I've got my banners and logo's designed, how do I get them on my front page?
Sorry to ask dumb questions, but a 1k computer was 3 square feet when I was at school, and I can barely work a video recorder. :D
Probably easiest if I let you see the site;

I've got a title of MA United, which I want to snazz up a bit, and I'd like to at least down size the big excoboard logo too if that's reasonable?

I had the same problem when I first started my board, except I couldn't find how to rename threads. :D
You can replace the ExCoboard logo with your own in the CP under Feature Settings.

Is that under 'Image Options' or something else? |

Yeah. The one you want is the logo. |
