I was told that advertising friends links was ok and none of them are business links...and in fact I am in the process of moving all the links to their sites onto my main sites www.BarDazzle.co.uk & www.Dazzlechat.co.uk

Thank you for visiting my board.
Apparently the Exco admin has removed the offending 'ads' from my board.

Since there seems to be some concern about it, I will tell you that the offending 'ads' were nothing I directly profited from.
2 (1 at the top, another below I just added today) were merely websites that visitors go to view member's sites and in return I might end up with some return views to my board.
The other 2 are friends of mine who I traded links with (which the admin left intact).
The only others are my 'Referring Web Pages, last 24 hours:' service and I just recently added a ExCo board Toplist button of which I imagine you might have found my site from.
I hope that clears up your confusion, now maybe you could help clear up some of mine: Can anyone post a link to the Excoboard TOS as I have looked high and low for but cannot seem to locate? Before I made my board I read through them (somewhere) and was under the impression I was not in violation of the terms.
Thank you in advance,
John |

I have a question?
I have read the TOS 3 times.
Where does it say that i cannot profit from visitors?
I have been creating a silent auction/classifieds site that i have incorporated my board to, is this not allowed.
I havent charged anybody yet, however i intended to once i had alot of members.
Thanks |

Peter got your question answered.
Conflict with Google ads mean no other ads like them. Where you profit for showing their banner. |

well my apologies for misunderstanding the content of the board but it was set out in such a way that it appeared to be selling others services..& I know I'm not the only person who thought this..
I was only asking about the advertising because I myself had been told by other older (and I mean time at exco not age) members to remove all links bringing pop-ups to my board for fear of having my board deleted...
