I have noticed, and have heard from other forum members as well....that the "new" icons on my forum don't show as a new post after having going to one thread and reading it. When you go back to the main page then all the "new" posts icons change to having been read...when in fact they have not. I thought quite a while back here someone asked about this but I could not find that info now...and someone here told them what to do for this problem. Anyone out there know or remember what to do for this. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! :) |

I have done that. Thank you. It is working for me. I will see if anyone else has probelms now, they shouldn't.

It's funny, I've given the same advice for two different problems and it seems to be working......lol. Glad it worked for you. Should be ok now. It was Peter's fix btw, so I knew it would work, if that was the problem. |

Oh my stars... I thought I was imaging this. I'm like why are all the new posts disappearing. I'ma go see if this works for me too.!
Back to add, it worked. Easy fix. Boy am I glad!

Ok... I'm back. the fix is no longer working. I just went to my forum and saw that three forums all had new responses. When I came back to the main index page, all the new indicators had vanished. This explains why my members keep saying "How did I miss this thread."
Help...I need a fix!... Ok that sounds like I'm a junkie or something but you guys know what I mean. :)
Just wanted to add, I don't want to reset the thread template or anything else cause I have too many board modifications.
