Debbi Is there a limit to the number of categories and forums you can have on your board?

I had a major tidy up of our board last night, most of you know it http://s2.excoboard.com/exco/index.php?boardid=18431 and by its very nature it has a lot more forums than a lot of boards.

I moved a whole load of threads into other forums and deleted a lot of forums as the board index page was stretching to a terrible size. But it just made me wonder if there was any kind of limit.

P.S. Catchow sweetheart, you are still very welcome to join (I know you hate closed forums, but I'm sure you understand ours really has to be) and write about that thing we talked about. I know you don't have a lot of time for such things though.

Catchow Debbi you can have as many forums as you like and as many categories as you want. To make the board be not quite so long, on the features page you can set it to only show categories rather than filling up the page with forums too.

I know that you want me to join your forum but life has a way of getting in the way. I will be sharing my computer with several children this summer who want to play on a pet site and don't have a good enough computer or connection to use their own. I get quite a bit sicker in the summer as well because the heat makes my lupus worse. It has already begun to get way too hot way too early with temps in the high 90's F. I simply don't have the time or energy to join another board and have closed most of my own. I posted on the kicas board that I don't know the answers to your questions and neither did my doctors but they did say that anything is possible. I guess that you missed that post. Maybe you could get the info that you seek by googling. I am really sorry that I can't help. Ravensmom might be a good resource for you. I simply am not.

Also I am still unsure how to make the smilie that you requested. I have hated and discarded all my attempts. Is it supposed to look muddy? Or dirty? I asked Sarah who is way better at computer graphics than I am to make one and she looked at me as if I had grown another head and then spent a half hour laughing at me through church. But it's ok because I plan to blackmail her into doing it. She volunteered for a job at church that I know she can't do and will be asking me for help on! hahahaha

Debbi no worries my dear, I understand.

I'm getting not too bad at the research thing so I have posted some basic information, I was after a personal experience of it - but like I said, no worries, I know its not easy for you.

I did get your post on KICAS

yes, the clarty smilie should be dirty or muddy - and don't worry about it, I'm certainly in no hurry.

Debbi not a clue sweetheart.
Am sure Porty will be on later, he would know I'd imagine.

Mind you, in saying that they did have a colour ad in the local community magazine which was out last week, so it could be anyone.

Catchow Oh.. . in the thread porty said she was American. K Debbi it's 2:27AM and much too hot in here. My chair is all charged up and I am going to a 24 hour convience store to get a coke. It HAS to be cooler outside than in my apartment.
