Topic: Stop deletion of topics?
June 4th, 2004 09:45 PM
Beautiful Is there a code I can use to stop members from deleting topics?

I think members should be able to delete their posts, but deleting FULL topics is not cool!!

Anyway to stop it?

sdn Please stop adverspamming™ that site. Put the link in your sig if you feel compelled to do so.

Edit: This post is binary.
Edit again: spamvertising™ is my word too. :D

Beautiful How did my member delete his whole topic then? I'll ahve to check again but I'm pretty sure he deleted the full topic...

Either way... deleting full topics and/or other people's posts is not good...

Gary If the member started the topic and he deletes his post that started the topic the whole thread will be deleted. This is being looked into by the "bossmen"

There is nothing that can be done as of now.

pat It's pretty standard with most boards of this type. They can probably change it, but it is usually the way it works. It's also usually against board rules to do it when there are a lot of posts on the thread.
