Is it possible to remove the "Hide from who's online" option from my board?? As a board admin, I don't like that option. I wanna see who's on my board, lol.

yes JL it's possible :)
try going to your Control Panel, then Settings.
look very closely and I think you can disable the Who's Online feature. you could also do this by using the Custom Templates and editing the Index Page. |

Thanks, Anti Paul...however, I'm still at a loss. I checked my settings. I found where you can show/hide statistics, and where you can show/hide who's online. I want to display my stats and who's online. That's not a problem.
What I am talking about is the option for users to hide themselves when logged in. This option is given to registered users in their account under 'profile.' I am asking if that option can be removed. I don't want users on my board hiding. I want the user names of every logged in user to be displayed.
Know what I mean? LOL |

Probably not as it has been a discussion on and off for the year that I have been around here. People are entitled to a bit of privacy but I do agree that it would be nice especially where lurkers are concerned. |

I think it should be an Admin only function, but it should definitely be there.
It's common to other boards, and I've found it useful in cross referencing Troll activity in the past. |

I have to agree here having had my board hacked, I think if the admins had the ability to see who is online or maybe see guests and members ipps then maybe this could have been avoided !! |
