Sporadic load-up time of forum threads, one minute they are instantaneous in load-up then the next minute they die on you, complete slow-down and some time-out.
Since forwarding my enquiry on this board i have had no response from a senior member, please can you look into this problem for me and others that are experiencing insufficient load-up and excessive lag.
I think it maybe overload on the second server as this is becoming a commonality in the past few days. If you could look into it for us and get back to us to let us know if anything is being done on the matter then that would be great.
Cheers. |

Thermohaline,
Peter is aware of the problem and is looking into it again. I wish that I had answers for you, for myself and for all the people who keep pm'ing me asking me to do something. I have asked Peter to address the issue on the board and as soon he has checked out a few things you can be assured that he will be offering some kind of response. |

We make full backups on Sundays, which includes transfer of the entire server. A couple of weeks ago we made some changes to this process which may be the cause. The server itself looks good, but the network might max out.
To correct this problem, we'll adjust the network resources the backup can use, and schedule it to run at night. |
