Hiya,
I feel terrible asking this as the Board itself is fantastic but I keep trying and the same problem is there (more than likely its me!)
Right I have created a board and I want to make one of the forums for admin and Super Mods only I have looked through the usergroup tutorial and greated a group, then when it says go to user admin I click on the name but the user group setting is not there, (just save settings, check user ID and clear profile and avatar)
Can anyone help me out?

This could be related as I just checked on one of my standard member accounts and the usergroup drop down was there..
Does this mean that Admin and Supers can't be part of a Usergroup?
I have tried making the forum accessable only by Super Mods but its still showing on Index.. |

Aha.
So I have now discovered the the standard user cannot access the forum, so the main thing I need to figure out is if the forum can be removed from the index for standard users and only seen by the Mod Team?
See I got there in the end.
I am such a numpty lol. |

Admins can view and get into all forums. Just click on Super Mods to be able to view post in that forum.
That should solve your problem.
A good idea is to make a 2rd account for yourself. Then make that a standard member and see if you can view that forum. The log out and back into your account and fix things if need be. |

Admins are automatically a part of any usergroup.
SuperMods need to be added. Double check one of the supermods to see if the userbox is there to add them to one.
As to actually "hiding" that forum, techinaclly it can't be done. Just set permissions to Supermods view/post and everyone else as nothing. Admins automatically view/posts on all forums. |

Oh I thought a cloak could be put on there, no worries it will just be the forum of mystery to our members.
