membar I'm curious to see how Allen does today. I kind of hope FAS prevails because I think I just got stopped out of FKOS.

If you're stopped out, don't you want FAZ to prevail??? So that FAS is cheaper?

BullDog Another tricky day.
Just bought some Connoco Phillips, on the Oil inventory report Dip.

HeidiTwit They were talking about depression again on cnbc.

I wonder if we have a down to 6/15, then a bounce?

Oops. That what I meant.

Did you sell FAZ at open or are you still holding it?

BullDog Looking for a bonce from close to S&P 1300
membar - did I mention range 1300 to 1350 a few days ago?
June 2nd, 2011 11:59 AM
HeidiTwit I'm thinking about going to thre short side as well, but now I feel I may have missed it.

BullDog Heidi - UR correct. I am always scared to short after major pull backs. The time to short is when things are flying and when VIX is at its lower range end. Spot VIX is a pretty reliable signal, when to short and when not to.

I Zkos'd out early. I found some more errors in my code. I'm gonna go back to defaulting on FAS overnight for now until I figure things out.

Sorry. If I had a nickle for every time my code had a bug in it.

I cashed out of ZSL @ 18.20 (in @ 18.11). I think we're going to have a mini-rally at the end of the afternoon.

Thoughts?:

Make that... I don't have a clue what's going to happen.

If I was a betting person, I'd say the VIX will stay at the current levels for awhile. Not boding well for a market uptick. Then again, what would I know.

See the chart below; TNA/TZA vs ^VIX.

Nice to see you back. Hope you stick around. Have you been trading lately? Are you still doing your SSF stuff?

Not much trading, came up with a VIX related weekly dollar cost averaging theory.

Not doing any SSF, I did not lose money, but did not really make much either. To much capital tied up by margin requirements. If I had >$100k in my "play" account then I could change over to portfolio margin account.
