HeidiTwit I was considering getting into tza on Friday, for a swing trade into the summer tank.
I think this would be considered a breakout. Got in 5/12 around $35 for a paper trade.
My estimate for the bottom is around $58, looking at the chart from last year.
IMHO, DYDD.

BullDog Thanks Heidi. Today, a good pull back day. I also loaded up on AA, GE and DUK today. These are to create a hedge in my portfolio.

BullDog BullDog analysis;

EU worries bring mkt down, but the 10 yr benchmark note isn't up much. So what does this mean? This is most of the pull back we are going to get.

I know people have different opinions, but we are close to the bot.
S and P 1300, maybe, but that is it.

If you are in the bears, start getting out and instead start getting into the bulls.

Good Luck.

You think so? We're only -3.x% from the peak close... My pullback analysis says to wait until -5-6% from peak.. I'm still holding on to my S&P500 puts. :)

allen314159 My code swapped FAZ for FAS for tomorrow's open.

I've updated my code to compare the last 11 days of data with historical data... apparently the last 11 trading days are the most pertinent for determining what happens the next day...

BTW, I only made a few cents with FAZ, didn't recover my FAS gap down... Oh well. got a few more extra shares of FAS.

We should pool our intelligence and try to create some marketable software instead of this daytrading nonsense. Anyone have any good ideas?

How about software that makes backtesting strategies easier or the non CS geeks?

I've actually thought about that, but wasn't sure how to assess the market demand for something like that.
