wanlorn Emma will not sell until end of day or stop. The 3min MACD negative cross on FAZ is about to occur though.
January 7th, 2011 01:01 PM
andy0323 Hmmm... wondering if it's too late to jump into the bear rally.
January 7th, 2011 01:01 PM
wanlorn SPX bounced off S3 real hard. I'm not convinced the bear slide is over.
January 7th, 2011 01:04 PM
Black Swan paper trade: In TNA 71.08.
added: And it slid to 70.83:-)
January 7th, 2011 01:05 PM
andy0323 In FAZ @ 9.20. Stop -1%. Lets see how this goes.

Hey BullDog, did you transfer all your FAS to MO?
January 7th, 2011 01:10 PM
shazee We are starting earning report on Monday, first with ALCOA.
January 7th, 2011 01:12 PM
Black Swan And it will be a sell off, again. So hold on to the bear?
January 7th, 2011 01:14 PM
wanlorn SPXSwing trying to take another shot at TNA 71.05
January 7th, 2011 01:20 PM
Black Swan Looking back, TNA and FAS entries that I paper traded would have worked. Guess I should just stay away from the bear:-)
January 7th, 2011 01:24 PM
wanlorn IRASwing jumped in UPRO at 209.25
January 7th, 2011 01:24 PM
shazee January sets the outcome of the rest of the year. Monday COULD be up and then down and the rest of week flat ( Monday and tuesday can give us a better picture direction of the market). We need to play day by day.

PUG thinks we still see 1280 before the market pulls back to 1178, truly no one has the answers.

January 7th, 2011 01:27 PM
andy0323 Damn.. stopped out. Done for the day.
January 7th, 2011 01:29 PM
Black Swan In TNA 71.18.

Do you think S&P hit the lowest for today? It's creeping upwards now. Maybe a shart selloff @ EOD?

I think so too. TNA might behave like it did on Tuesday, but Monday the reporting starts.. Also many people are taking profits to pay off the Santa bills now.

Very true definately have to take it day by day..
Starting to think the slide is over for today and SPX got no where near 1257. I think 1257 will end up being a critical level at least for the near future (2-3 weeks). Its possible that the market will bounce off 1257 once or twice but I think that the next break below 1257 will start the descent to 1175.

Holding my FAZ in that anticipation I guess. Shazee is perfectly right on the day to day quote- the way it's behaving, I wouldn't mind taking it hr by hr.

shazee True,1257 is critical. We are going to earning reports, tuesday ( 01/11 Potgugueses and Spanish bonds auction could possiblly negitive on market. 01/18 Chineses president HU visiting US and possible shaking in market due to increase In China interst rate.

The more important one is OPEX on Jan 21. No matter what, it is written in stone, the third year of presidency, the stock market should be in best behavior to show economic recovery.

Up and down during this month. I think the big players want to sell on strenght while pushing this market up and little by little taking money out of the market and change sectors. They would not slide the market down too fast 1178, IMO. This is just a guess/ opinion.

Black Swan In TNA, 71.72. Planning to hold for the next hours unless something drastic happens.
January 7th, 2011 02:21 PM
andy0323 S&P slowly creeping up... I think I got a plan @ EOD if my hunches are correct.
January 7th, 2011 02:32 PM
zenmaster Hi BS and others. I really wonder how much base capital you start with ?
Really surprised to see you exiting in few cents up or down. and doing it time and again.

Its ok if you dont want to answer it :) but with 15/20k base - i dont seem to get it :(

HeidiTwit I'm looking for $67 on the renko trade. Seeing the sell-off that usually happens before the end of the year. Wondered why its happening now.

Interesting ruling on foreclosure case - judge said that the bank couldn't prove it owned the mortgage, and so couldn't have the house (massachusetts). Could be bad for banks?

I would say by the looks of things, yes. Any negative news (even subjective) can potentially be detrimental to the financials at the moment IMHO due to the major upside the banks have gone through the past month or so. The financials are highly sensitive right now... and can trigger a stop loss domino effect.
