So... market is up purely on fed speculation today?

Personally, I think it's the bots. Who knows. Fed is probably going to have to come up with some variant of QE3 eventually, but I predict an end-of-day selloff.
Currently in FAS and ZSL. Stopped out in FAZ and AGQ earlier, so today is all about minimizing my losses. That said, I predict FAS will tank at the end of the day and I'll get stopped out again. That was my prediction yesterday, however. |

Are we not bots even though we're using automated strategies?
Maybe we're just slower and more "stupid" bots. Sometimes I feel that way as compared to HF bots. |

Sometimes I don't think they report correctly why the market moved... but I think a lot of times the "why" part is somewhat arbitrary. |

Actually, I guess stocks did drop from the earthquake.
It was at 1:51p ET, and there was a sudden drop in the market at the time within a minute or two. |
