Worth replaces somebody who was "worthless". |

So, will Santiago see more action too? |

According to what I see, Ramon and Worth will split time and Avila will get more starts behind the dish, with Laird more or less moving to backup status. |

Well, glad to hear Ramon will play a bit more. He deserves a shot really, they keep tossing him aside for someone else who can't match his glove and turns out to suck at the dish too. Not that I think Ramon is great, he just deserves the chance to play more regularly.
Might as well let Avila play more too, but he hasn't been anything special either. But if both aren't hitting, doesn't Laird give us much more behind the plate?
We need a shakeup though. |

Avila has been hitting much better lately (.333 over his last 10 games and 30 plate appearances)...and he's caught both a shutout and perfect game recently. |

Avila's numbers will go up with more playing time. This move probably would have happened much sooner had he continued to hit like he had in Spring Training. |
