Seay has been diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff which he will try to rehab rather than have surgery which could threaten his career. Miner was also placed on the DL with elbow tendonitis.

Torn rotator cuff? Damn, that sucks. Coal Miner's Daughter isn't a huge loss if one of the guys fighting for the last spot can fill that role in the pen. |

I think Fu Te Ni can fill in Seavys roll nicely. I honestly like our pen. |

Bonine will take Minor's place. He's actually be pretty valuable for us the past two years.
Seay hurts us and its horrible for him. Dunno if Fu Te Ni is going to be nearly as reliable. |

I agree. I liked what Ni did last year, but Seay gave us a lot of useful late inning outings. |

Looks like we won't be seeing Miner any time soon. The diagnosis is a partial tear of the ulnar colateral ligament.
