Not sure if this was posted somewhere else but I just heard DD on Home Plate XM...

I'm fine with Zoom closing... if he was ever healthy. I hope they have a backup plan. Lyon's deal pretty much killed chances of re-signing Rodney. Not that I think we should waste a bunch of money on Rodney, I guess one of the new guys is going to take Zoom's spot when he gets injured? Hopefully he works out. |

I am looking for the XM piece. What I heard was him saying these two things during a Home Plate update. So, I am not actually sure who he was talking to. These links read close...

I am okay with Zumaya as well. But he does scare me. Not a full season yet I dont think and throwing 102 may have put some hurt on that arm. But if the Tigs are waiting for Schlereth to get ready then Zoom just has to hold the spot down...and stay away from the guitar hero. |

The problem I have with Zoom is that he won't grow up. If he wants to be taken seriously, he needs to stop focusing on that ****ing radar gun and focus on the hitters... just get em out. Don't worry about speed. |

I like this:
Quote: "I'm a guy who wants the ball no matter what," Coke, 27, said. "Nine innings is cool; no problem. I want my number to be called (in the bullpen) or to pitch every five days. Either is fine with me, I'm wide open to whatever they want." |
