Right its that time of year again, when I need to find a dress for the OTT works party. This year I am prepared to pay a little more for a little black dress that I will wear again.
Last year I got a lilac/grey strapless number for £10 in the sale, I don't want to wear it 2 years in a row :( and my luck in this years sales is non existent.
I want something strapless or simple halterneck or thin straps, no dimonte, embroidery and around knee length. The look is going to be simple glamour (flicked hair, red lip stick, 40's style)
Any ideas? I've tried the top end of Oxford Street and its dire :(
even Jane Norman is letting me down :( |

gone for a black knee length Chinese style dress. Has silver flowers down the front, from Jane Norman. Hints at a cleavage and has a nice split down the side. Fit's like a glove and was more my style than the prom styled dresses. I still have the receipt, might be too nice for a works party ;) |
