i don't know bout luck, i think it was those elbows that fucked him up cuz Gonzaga was pimpin Mirko on the ground for the first few minutes with dem shots.
Actually you wanna talk about luck, is when the ref bailed Cro-cop out from against the cage and surprisingly stood them back up. WTF!?!? Gonzaga was staying busy!!!
I aint saying that cro-cop's done, i just believe that he relies on his stand up and take down defense a little too confidently. He's gotta work on getting off from his back and back up on his feet.

The fight was all Gonzaga, from start to finish, no doubt about that. But I really think that was a one time deal. Zaga was riding on some cloud nine shit from start to finish. If youve watched every one of Cro Cops fights before that one, you KNOW that he has much more to offer than what he showed. I really think it was a one time thing, regardless if the fact that fool is getting old. Any other fight in the future, and ill take cro cop. |

I've seen all of Mirko's MMA bouts and what you have to remember is that when he's faced equal or larger sized opponents that are "MORE dimensional"...he's lost. Examples are: Noguiera, Fedor, Hunt, and then Gonzaga. There hasnt been that much progression there.
