Aloha fellow kama'aina. A few things.
As some of you know, I have a weekly music column and a lot of people whose music I've reviewed often ask me about doing shows in Honolulu. In the past I have always told people to write to Kavet, so Kavet if you've wondered where some e-mails are coming from, there you go.
However, I know Kavet's a busy guy too so if you are someone who regularly books/sets up shows and works directly with the artists in question, I want to update my address book. You can either contact me directly via PM/IM or post here. I ask because a crew from DC called The Package are interested in setting something up, and as the weather improves, more will want to head over there for a show or two and perhaps some live sets on KTUH or something. Some of the guys involved with The Package I've known since the Usenet days (mid to late 90's) so if anyone wants to check them out, here:

Anyway, anyone who sets up shows, get in touch with me so I can pass your contact info to them so they can get in contact with you.
Also, I still want to boost my local coverage within my column and of course over at Okayplayer, a community that I've been a part of for 10 years. If you have new music, I want to review it. New tracks, mix tapes, free links for fans? Put me on your mailing list. I have an opportunity to help in this fashion, and since I haven't won the lottery yet so I could take all of you guys on a cross country tour via Amtrak, then this will have to do for now.
