Holy cow! That's a whole fantasy that you've been playing with someone else! And I thought it was a little creepy when you wanted me to dress up like an elf and pretend I was baking cookies in a tree!!!

Oh sure like I asked for the buttshine... You told me, Mr. "I'll be Sam Gamgee", that I had to... because Master Frodo wouldn't like a golum with a dull butt...
...you swore that's what happened behind the scenes...
I feel violated

Posted September 16th, 2005 01:30 PM IP Yippee! My favourite horror movie ever! If I could marry Pinhead (in another lifetime of course), I would! Or at least make out with him.
In case anyone didn't read my post in the Halloween thread, or didn't put two and two together, this is the movie my Mother wouldn't let me watch until I was in High School. Too much sex she said. I think she really just didn't want me learning about bondage so early on. haha.
This movie doesn't really, or ever, scare the crap out of me. I just think it is the coolest and took a different direction from the typical slasher films of the time.

I watched the first movie over the weekend and I got a kick out of how the Cenobites were listed in the credits:
Head Cenobite
Butterball Cenobite
Female Cenobite
Chattering Cenobite

Posted September 16th, 2005 06:15 PM IP I am also a fan of Hellraiser, Pinhead is probably one of the faces I see when I think of horror icons. Great characters and great stories, I could watch it over and over.
I'm gonna watch it this weekend, and comment more when its fresher in my mind!

Posted September 16th, 2005 08:09 PM IP This movie in my opinion brought Horror killers to a new level.
I think Pinhead showed us that out horror heroes don't have to be coming back for revenge. That they can have a purpose other then some emotional response to their death.
I love that hell has become organized, that it is structured, and not chaotic, as we're led to believe in life. I love that there are so many cenobites, and that to get to hell it's a seduction of the mind. If I could be a cenobite I would... The pain would be exquisite!

That's worse than someone saying they've never seen Star Wars! (Only because of the particular board we are on.) hehe.
Since my first posting was not "Official"... :p ...
I will briefly say...I love this movie. Love it!

Posted September 21st, 2005 11:24 PM IP There are 8 hellraisers.
Watch the first one... If you like the first one... then watch the rest.
The later ones don't have a lot of the cenobite bits in them, they could almost stand alone as stories.
But I say... If you like the first one, watch the rest in order.
I ahve to admit though don't expect hollywood acting

Posted September 21st, 2005 11:34 PM IP I LOVE the first one (although I always snicker at Julia's 80's makeup and giant earrings). I've seen only the 3rd one in addition. It was pretty good.
