Hmmm, well....I've seen the second Candyman movie, and while its not BAD.....it isnt too good in my mind, I dont remember much of it! 
So, who's pickin the next movie to discuss tonight!?

Yippee! My favourite horror movie ever! If I could marry Pinhead (in another lifetime of course), I would! Or at least make out with him.
In case anyone didn't read my post in the Halloween thread, or didn't put two and two together, this is the movie my Mother wouldn't let me watch until I was in High School. Too much sex she said. I think she really just didn't want me learning about bondage so early on. haha.
This movie doesn't really, or ever, scare the crap out of me. I just think it is the coolest and took a different direction from the typical slasher films of the time.

I absolutely love this movie.I was about 12 when I saw this for the first time and I thought it was excellent.Amazing what a little drop of blood on the floor can cause! LOL

I am also a fan of Hellraiser, Pinhead is probably one of the faces I see when I think of horror icons. Great characters and great stories, I could watch it over and over.
I'm gonna watch it this weekend, and comment more when its fresher in my mind!

This movie in my opinion brought Horror killers to a new level.
I think Pinhead showed us that out horror heroes don't have to be coming back for revenge. That they can have a purpose other then some emotional response to their death.
I love that hell has become organized, that it is structured, and not chaotic, as we're led to believe in life. I love that there are so many cenobites, and that to get to hell it's a seduction of the mind. If I could be a cenobite I would... The pain would be exquisite!

I for some odd reason that I cant explain have never seen hellraiser, I honestly didnt even know who pinhead was till I saw JediKims Baby pinhead (waiting to get smacked now...lol). But I am going to go rent the movie this weekend..still trying to figure out how I have never seen it...

There are 8 hellraisers.
Watch the first one... If you like the first one... then watch the rest.
The later ones don't have a lot of the cenobite bits in them, they could almost stand alone as stories.
But I say... If you like the first one, watch the rest in order.
I ahve to admit though don't expect hollywood acting

I LOVE the first one (although I always snicker at Julia's 80's makeup and giant earrings). I've seen only the 3rd one in addition. It was pretty good.

I really enjoy Hellbound. Almost as much as the first one. After that, they get kind of lame for me. I really hate sequels to movies!
