Posted May 24th, 2006 12:59 AM IP I don't know about Kelsey Grammart as Beast... especially considering they had hank Mccoy who is supposed to be the same guy in X-men 2, but he was just on tv and really not that memorable.
Brian Singer did a great job with the first 2 movies, i jsut hope that hte third is as good. THe best part is the cast... all the major players from the first 2 movies were kept the same... Some of the minor characters were different in each movie (Jubilee, Shadow Cat)
I also think it's great that they have moved the ages of some of the characters around, and if you're a big fan of the book s like I am it can be a bit weird to see some of the characters, as the ages they are in the movies, especially since... Iceman fo rexample has been arouns since the 60s!

Posted May 25th, 2006 12:00 PM IP LOL Tracy, I had it for months before I watched it, but I'm glad I did, Oh yeah.
Lookin forward to X Men 3, so in the spirit of THIS discussion, the next one can be part deux of the X flicks.

Discuss away.
I liked this flick, probably moreso that the first, but it was a close call. The characters become larger, you see more layers of people, and the story is alot more nail biting than the first. The additional mutants are also cool, specifically Alan Cummins' character "Nightcrawler"...one of my favourite characters in the X-Men movies so far.
Well worth watching, one of the best Super Hero flicks out there for sure.

Posted May 27th, 2006 08:06 PM IP I loved Xmen 2! I thought it was a step up from the first one and Nightcrawler is amazing!!! Really great acting from him and I love that opening sequence in the white house, it was just perfect. Xmen 2 felt like a comic book to me, its probably in my top 3 favorite comic book movies.

Posted June 6th, 2006 08:07 PM IP Awesome movie! It was dark, violent and everything that batman should be. Christian Bale was a perfect choice of Batman and they had a good story. One of the best Comic Book movies out there!

I liked Batman Begins alot, totally different from the other Batman movies and easily the best one of them all. Christian Bale did a great job as the man-bat, and I liked seeing Liam Neeson in a role like this, twisty turny and groovy, well worth watching for sure!
