Well...

I had heard mixed reviews on it, some people didn't like it, some thought it was a brilliant film...so I gave it a shot a few months ago. I liked it alot, it's very original, and the Danvers Mental Hospital just outside of Boston where the movie is shot is just amazing. It got knocked down since the flick was made, but the hospital itself is creepy.

The acting is top notch and it leaves you with lots of thoughts, wondering what the Hell was going on, but in a GOOD way, and it's a clever movie too.

I recommend it anyway, I like it.

I'm so upset about that. My friend and I were going to take a trip there and I went on the website and it said it was going to be destroyed, wtf? It was kinda close to us too.
As far as the movie, I like it alot. The first time I saw it I had no idea what to expect. It's so subtle and you really have no idea where it's going. I liked the atmosphere too. It makes you think and throws you a curve ball.
I had to see it again, now I own it.
I think it's one of those movies that gets better the more you watch it.
So in a nutshell I say, give it a chance.

I love love love this movie! I've got the soundtrack on my iPod so I can listen to it all the time. I was even geeky enough about the movie that I got the $50 special edition, it's the same dvd but it's got a beautful book-like case and some purty post cards.

I thought this was a pretty good movie, the court scenes took me by suprise but thought they did it well. The acting was very good, the girl who played emily rose was amazing. There were some pretty scary scenes I thought so yeah, its a good movie.

I didn't want to watch this movie, and I wouldn't have today if I hadn't been handed a copy, free of charge, from a friend.

I'm glad I did watch it, because though it isn't the best flick out there, I think it's good. I liked the courtroom scenes, and I figured, for a girl who was in a shit comedy flick like "White Chicks" the girl who played Emily was good.

I liked it, I've heard about numerous tales about the Exorcist story, all with different main character names, I think this is one of the better ones.

I liked it, I thought it was a fresh change to pit the medical explanation with the supernatural one. I will admit on a couple of occations, I jumped but I am a big chicken....if you went to the theatre with me and it was a really scary flick, I would end up in your lap...LOL

I rented this movie and I think I must have been so bored that I didn't retain a single thing from the movie. I really can't remember it.
And I really enjoy religious horror movies, too.

I think they cut those bear scenes out of the movie because of budget reasons and the bear was getting paid more than the actors.....

i thought it was a good movie. not something i'd sit through more than once, but...the bear would have been a bonus.

A weird movie, but a good one I thought. The portrayal of Ed Wood by Johnny Depp is great, it's one of the best roles I've seen Mr Depp in, and he's done some strong and memorable ones in the past.

Strange, moving and funny.

I LOVE this movie....it is just fantastic. I agree Chris Johnny Depp did a good job. Wouldn't you have just loved to meet the real Ed Wood, how cool that would have been

I love Ed Wood. I agree that Johnny was amazing, but he usually is IMO. I think Martin Landau deserved every inch of that Oscar. The only let down for me was the score. It's the only Tim Burton film that Danny Elfman did not score. It was okay but I think Danny Elfman would have done something beautiful.

Oh yeah, Martin Landau was amazing, I didn't realise until much later after watching it that it was a Tim Burton film, which is weird, because it's pretty obvious, maybe it's because there wasn't any Elfman score in sight? lol

I think X-Men is an awesome comic book to movie. It was very well done, decent enough story and I think they did a great job introducing all the characters. The casting is flawless, they casted everyone perfectly. I think it might be a little bit outdated but I havent watched it in a while. And I want my Gambit, why have they not put him in it.

I am a bigtime late bloomer on the X-Men flicks....I only watched the first one a couple of weeks ago, and the second one this week, I liked both ALOT.

I didn't find either dated, I thought the casting was really good too, and the edginess and realism of the characters (They had balls, and a story that wasn't cheesy) was awesome, something I could get into easily.

Top Notch flick, way better than Spiderman.
