Posted 15-07-2010 18:23 IP I happened to take a peek inside kerrap for the first time in god knows how long and came across their review of king salami and the cumberland 3 and they absolutely panned it. said something along the lines of too much listeni8ng to DK's too drunk, I almost wept, how sad that they could so spectacularly miss the point of such a fine album. when did the magazine become so void of any credit? do the kids really only want to read about bands with loads of tats paid for by mam and dad and have silly hair gelled barnets with a piercing in or around the mouth? and all sound the same? what happened to their coverage of hard rockin music gone? can they ever regain any cred? Nope not for me...Just happened to notice they had billed a gig for Ghost of a Thousand in the Barfly for last Sunday that had never offically even been announced before the band moved it to London....Doh!!!
Its all about style over fricking substance and can you pigeon hole it ? I'm here I'm there I'm everywhere....so beware

spot on there style over substance indeed. i flicked through the mag and thought it was a mess zilch to get stuck into it was all written in miniscule soundbites I guess nobody who reads it regularly has the attention span to read a full page interview or a decent article. sad! Posted 15-07-2010 19:02 IP King Salami sound as much like King Diamond as they do Dead Kennedys. Obviously a well informed article.
Dirtbombs/Detroit Cobras I could maybe understand as a modern reference point but they are also just rock n roll bands.
But DK!!!!!????? I'm here I'm there I'm everywhere....so beware
