A very big thank you to all the photo framers, marshals, helpers and participants in the Brown Willy Run. A superb club effort. Adrian tells me we raised a record £926.93 for Cornwall Hospice Care and Cornwall Search & Rescue: a massive sales success by Nick, Diane and Lindsay!
There were 306 runners enjoying the glorious (if chilly) weather, and no-one needed stretchering off the moor this time. Thanks to Dave, Mark and Fergy for your kind comments. See you again next New Year.
Thanks also to our kind hosts at Jamaica Inn and the generous spirited landowners and tenant farmers who let us rampage over their land.
A particular thank you to Kevin, who not only rose at a ridiculously early hour to help me lay out the course, he also drove, so I could enjoy a beer or three.
