My daughter Hailey12 had her cervical spine x-ray. She does not have the issue that alot of kids have she has Atlanto Occipital Subuxation. Received referral to go to specialist at childrens hospital Monday. The doctor said he knew nothing of the condition and would have to do research on the internet and email other doctors for ideas. He said he forgot to do that before we came in. I asked if she should continue taking gym, he said that was my decision. Well, am now totally frustrated. She does not have symptoms and want it to stay that way. So anyone know of this condition please post or email me at Karren26@msn.com. It is rare, but they also feel not all of our kids are getting routine x-rays and if they did we would see more cases of it. Any help appreciated.
