Any important anime announcements (beginning of a new series/season, movies, licensing, etc.) should be posted here.
As has been previously stated, Naruto filler is ending soon, with Shippuden (Tsunami Chronicles) beginning next Thursday in Japan. They will be cutting out the Kakashi gaiden, but at this point, I'll be ecstatic just to see episodes that don't suck.
Bleach filler ended approximately one month ago, at episode 110. Upon catching up with it, i must say,,,,, pretty sweeeeet.

Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu has been licensed, and is currently in late dub production.

I like haruhi in her true (if shrill and domineering) langauge and voice, but, i may invest in the DVD so that i can delete the gig of haruhi on each of my computers (yeah...i backed it up 3 times...so what!)
I'm very seriously looking for a new series to be interested in, so please post suggestions (WARNING: I am extremely picky and generally unrelentingly critical of media, don't be surprised if i call the series crap and refuse to watch any more after the first episode)

T minus a number less than 5 of hours until I am the proud downloader of the Dattebayo-fansubbed edition of Naruto: Shippuden, episodes one and two.

I'm trying to find shippuden 5. I DESPISE HARUHI!!. DUDE shippuden is awsome.

dattebayo has had the REAL 5 up for about a week. 6 didn't air this week though, so they just did a recap episode pieced together to fit what the manga actually had in it.
