(note, reverse 'message' symbol) I have an idea for a comic that KICKS ASS, but I'm not so awesome with my doodle-no-jutsu, so, here I post the script....Whomsoever posts (or emails) RESULTS that seem satisfactory (or just plain awesome) will have my dedication as a writer for a great little comic. I know webdesigners that can help get us posted, or, if you are good at that too, we can collaborate on a site for it. Motivation is more important than anything else, so please, post results, not promises.
Spammy and the Space Something
Episode 1: No hope to begin with….
SCENE 1 ext. the blackness of space, a single space ship floats about with a bumper sticker that reads “Wxplians against drunk pilots.” There is an asteroid floating by with a sign on it which reads “Gull Galaxy 24 lt. yrs. Exit 22547812098”
SCENE 2 int. Frank and Charlie’s ship. Charlie pilots with a space age flask of whiskey at his constant disposal, Frank is looking at a map.
Frank
Dude! You missed the fucking exit!
Charlie
Did you just see that sign? 22547813098!
Frank
No! That was 22547812099
Charlie
Get your fucking eyes checked!
Frank
FINE! (hits a random button on the control panel and a periscope looking object descends from the ceiling, he presses his face into it and almost instantaneously a readout prints, he rips it off, checks it briefly and hands it to Charlie) SEE!! 20/19, BETTER than average, and who’s holding the goddamn map! (points forcefully to the map)
Charlie
You’re holding it upside-down!
Frank
Get YOUR fucking eyes checked!
Charlie
(makes a grumpy face and goes through the same process as Frank, he is decidedly happier after reading the printout) HA! 20/18, better than YOU
Frank
(after recovering from a short pout at his eyes being less awesome gives the map another look over) Well I am NOT holding it upside-down…..I’m holding it sideways (flips the map around and gives a sheepish look)
Spammy
(a little can of Spam^! that way they can’t sue us…) I told you guys, the exit isn’t for another 300 lightyears
Frank and Charlie
SHUT UP SPAMMY!!!
Spammy
I’m just trying to…..
Frank
Do you wanna get eaten?
Spammy
(shakes ‘head’ sadly)
Charlie
Get in the glove box!!
Spammy
(wanders into the glove box)
Charlie
HEY LOOK! (indicates a very insane looking hitchhiker who is standing on an asteroid) I bet he knows where it is
Frank
I don’t know man…maybe we could just ask for directions and drop him off at the next gas station….
Spammy
(peeking out from the glove box) I don’t know about this, fellas…
Frank and Charlie
GODDAMMIT SHUT UP!!!!
Charlie
Well, I’m stoppin’
Spammy
(creeps out of the glove box and starts chugging Charlie’s whiskey)

When I start on a project, I want the project to start, I whipped out an episode in like ten minutes, the least you could do is whip out a concept drawing in five days, When I say I'm going to do a project, I MEAN it, and I mean to work dillegently for RESULTS in an ASAP kind of time frame, I have no patience with artistic procrastination when it limits my artistry

Well, it's been a couple of days since I saw this post, and I whipped up a couple of concept drawings, though I think the idea would translate better into photoshop.
This is not to say I am going to undertake this project, but that it seems doable, and that with coaxing, I might...

I like it quite a bit.....it kix ass....especially the signs on the asteroids. Looks like your hired *handshake* Its been quite a good while since we were able to collaborate my antiklausistic friend and your strange minded compatriot.....

There is my first crack at an actual cover art.
I'll toss in the asteroids and signage in the actual cell. (that way I dont have to squeeze all the singage in there around the title and such)

Hmmm, good idea....or maybe an A-drive adaptor? Dunno, either way, the idea of the Whisk-E going around his brain is a good one, that way we all know when hes really drunk (tho it will slowly 'digest') and Im already seein a scene with a space trooper too!

well, it was a tad rushed, as megan hijacked the PC a lot, and i had to squeeze work on it between her planned activities, so i look back on it and see problems with some of the layers, but they are small things that can be fixed quickly.
Hopefully I'll have a couple more frames by Tuesday.

The sprites are already at double the quality of most net cartoons, i think its safe to say, if people will acctually veiw it in large enough numbers, theres at least a splash if not a wave to be made
