Woooooooooooahhhhh

>.>;;; so I thought I'd need to brush up on my skillz for the new game that already graces the shelves; Silent Hill: Homecoming.

So I began playing the games again....

I remember why I put them down in the first place.

Puts Resident Evil to shame in the completely f'ed up creepy department.... and matches it in storyline in my opinion. I'd uh... go on but, currently I think this thing wants to tentacle rape the main character so imma put a few 9mm's into him.

Come....come to silent hill, WE will be waiting for you there.

Silent Hill always makes me happy, but resident evil never really did it for me...It's an OK game, but it's just a zombie shoot em up with a little puzzle doing thrown in...of course, if you've paid ANY attention whatsoever to my tastes, you've probably noticed that I tend to like games where the action is secondary.

Silent Hill homecoming was a simo release on XBOX as well as Playstation, so all people can enjoy... and for those who have pc's rivaling that of Next Gen quality, it'll soon be out for PC.

As well as the others... I know the original silent hill is on PS.... while 2,3,4, are on the PS2... I know 2 was released for the XBOX as 'shattered dreams' but I am not sure if 3,4 were released for XBOX as well. Something to check out I guess ^^

Been playing SH4: The Room. an increadibly interesting story.... Now I won't spoil any of the interesting part, just the begining :P *nod nod* and sadly its not as scary as the previous ones (or I just haven't gotten there yet) Henry..... Townshend I believe gets caught in his own room for 5 days, or ever since he started having nightmares of his house bleeding through with ghosts and getting eaten, etc. He's trapped because he woke up one morning to find his door locked and chained from the inside, all the windows shut and locked perpetually....and really no way out whatsoever. Soooo you wander around... appearently you wander around the room in 1st person. In any case, your room is the only place to save/store items. Soooo you go back to it alot. Well you start to hear noises in your bathroom, so you go check it out, and when you do, you see a rather, large never ending hole in the wall of your bathroom.

Guess what you do next.

Appearently the only way out of your apartment is that hole... and everyone can guess where it leads to.

Regardless of the creepy atmosphere, I can play 4 a lot longer than I can play 2 or 3...... 3 f'ing scares the living crap out of me because i have it on ps2.... with hi-def cables and a hi-def tv. >.> DOOOOMMMMMMM in a box.

Hahaha! Well my next game purchase, when ever I get the time, will have to be a silent hill game. Just not the one with the pyramid head. I can't do that again. For me it wasn't so much the scariness of the game as the lack of control over the character. If I see some monster in front of me, forgive me Jessie, I want to fuckin' throw something at it to buy me time. I just feel so naked without firepower.

Mike can attest to the number of hours I blew on SH4 a few years ago at his place....it put off the release of our dope show vid by at least a week or two XD. Really well designed game though, i thoroughly enjoyed it.
