Posted March 18th, 2006 01:03 AM IP Okay. I've been working on languages for a while now, but I fail miserably at every one. This one, however, might actually make it. So far, I've got the ...I think... 45 character alphabet done, so I'm working on the roots of the words and grammatical structure. Oh, and if this thread doesn't belong here, please move it to an appropriate section.

Goodie. I can't wait to start speaking it!
(The Language, I mean)
There are three ways of dealing with time travel in Doctor Who (you might want to print this out for future use.)
1. Look, it's just a story, time travel is completely impossible, the whole thing's a farrago of lies, ooh, look at those monsters.
2. Time can only sometimes be rewritten, and the Doctor has a vast and terrible Time Brain that allows him to see when events can be altered and when they are fixed, but for us mere mortals, such insight would turn our brains to soup, ooh, look at those monsters.
3. Ooh, look at those monsters!
I like 3. It's quicker.

Posted March 18th, 2006 11:53 AM IP All right, so far, I have the grammatical structure set up. It's a runic language, so there is no capitalization. There is a line set up under a proper noun. And that's about it for now.

Posted March 18th, 2006 07:06 PM IP I made a language once by switching the keyboard from QWERTY to Dvorak. but it had periods for "e"'s which was annoying. hi.

Posted September 6th, 2006 10:47 PM IP I've started a new thread with the actual language. I believe it would be more efficient to place the language there and have the updates here.
So far, I completed the alphabet (Or the ahbo) and much of the numerical system. RAWR, I'M A FIRE DRAGON... But not a flamer, at least XD
