I have just had to eject two unhappy dogs and a furious cat into the maelstrom. And just in time to see the cover on the garden furniture go whooooooooooooshing across the garden.
During a pause in the whistling wind I thought I heard the chickens saying a rosary.

The chickens have a coup, which is within a bigger wooden structure that affords them total protection from the elements.
