I didnt think they would have horse racing in Winter. Do they heat the track or are they wearing snow shoes

Oooh. Forgot to tell you. Down the beach on Christmas morning with the visitors and the dogs and there was this huge snake basking in the morning sun. I didnt have my camera so I couldnt get a photo and it was too big to try and catch and send to you.

Probably better to do jumps in winter. Less heat stress on the horses. You know they have banned jump racing in Australia

It is a he. Famous musician over here (and the civilised world) who MC's a bunch of top acts throught the midnight hour. Lots of big names and the latest hot beat combo's.
Bit disappointing to learn that it's not live, as generally thought, but is recorded in mid december.

I imagine the ground is generally too hard and the casualty rate is unbearably high. They tried jumping on artificial tracks a few years ago so that they could jump all year round, but it was carnage and soon stopped.
