Chase finished sanding the surface today. There is a few spots that will need gone back over. I got the last sideboards on the donut and bridge. I also got them "cut out". We also got some more of the sideboards sanded. I put a little bondo on a seam and filled some screw holes in the lead-on. Also got the new router bit. I tried it out, and it works just as I wanted it to. So I routed a small area, then filled in some bondo, and cam back and rerouter it. This is going to bring the braid depth up to what I want. It worked out really good.

Rather than make this Braid Project Public . I will coordinate this and gather the money and order as braid as we can purchase. For the 2 rolls that are needed it will take $750+. As soon as we get enough money for a roll I will order and pay for it and have it on it's merry way to John.
PM me your amount if you want to help.

More sanding and filling screw holes with bondo today. Did some cleaning up and some other small things that needed to be done. Got to grind/sand a few spot on the sideboards, but they are all on the track. At the end of next week the braid shelfs will be all done. Then it's time to clean, clean, and clean some more. The following week paint will be on the track, and maybe some braid. I'll also start laying out some of the wire.

Lots of sanding today, got some more to do. Routed some of the slot, getting them ready to bondo up. Should have paint on the track next weekend.
