We picked it up out of storage in Oklahoma, before that it was in Arizona.

The only turn that is large radius, is the lead-on. The track looks different in person, as compared to the pictures.

You have to pit at the drivers panel!
Lane changes just take longer.

Got the sideboards on the inside of the 90, donut, and one coming out of the bank at the lap counter today. Chase was using the sander, he got the lead-on and front straight sanded.

Phyllis & I went by after dinner tonight. The track is looking GREAT! Told Dean he was going to need to move all of those dragsters out, that we are moving in & taking over the pit area. Lol! He actually said he may race some & he stills has all of his old stuff.

The track looks like it has a lot of "swoopiness" to it. Looks very short between the deadman and 90. I guess this is one of the tracks that had longer straights?

John, or anybody remember how fast this track was in it's previous life? I think it will be fast..... looks great.

I think I'll use Dyna-Glass; it's a bondo with small fiberglass strands in it. On a few of the turns were the braid shelf has wear from be used; I'll shim it up and reroute it to the depth I want.

More sanding and sideboards today. Just 2 more sideboards to go. Chase got the back straight, finger, and the dead-man sanded. Most, if not all of the surface should be sanded tomorrow. Sideboards will be done also. We'll start to fill screw holes with bondo. Now for picture time.
