I have a 'wide width' router bit for the braid slot if you need it. Also if you're going to resurface it, I'd recommend Rust-oleum #5382 w/#5301604 activator Water Based Paint. It sure is a lot easier & no bad smell. I've painted several tracks w/ oil based epoxy including the Hillclimb Track w/ 7 coats of Sherwin Williams Oil based epoxy & the water stuff is a breeze & better for your lungs & customers. You might price it-it's available from Grangers-because oil based stuff goes up & down in price & it might be about the same now.

Lookin' good, John! It's got some banking to it but not a punch bowl. Nice!

More work today. I got the last section put in. I got two turnbuckles in the lead-on. Starting to get the lead-on how I want it. I raised the front straight up some, it will come up another 4-5 inches before it's done. I will also get the bank a little lower to the ground. The dead-man looks a lot better now that sections are together, and a little tweaking on it. I had to shift the finger over a foot so that the last section would go together. This caused a lot of banking in the 90.

That's what I'm planning on doing. It will be worth it in the end. I should have some more time now, that the Rangers season is over.

Got some more work done on the track tonight. I redid the lead-on, donut, and the 90. I took the side board off the outside of the 90, that caused it to become more bowl shaped. I also lowered the center of it, and leveled it out more.
